Wrinkle band can’t slip down into the cylinder. The ring compressor is 4 ways better, low friction, wrinkle band, CAM operated and faster. When installing pistons back into the cylinder bore, nothing works better than the right piston ring compressor. Eliminates risk of breaking piston rings and piston ring lands.
