Using a code is much more practical than using a key for these type of doors. In addition to adding individual users, you can also program a master code to multiple door locks, a valuable feature for property management. The backlit keypad easily lights up with the push of a button and facilitates operation in the night time. It includes an adjustable latch with 2 different backset settings of 2 3/8″ and 2 3/4″ and features audible tones when locking, unlocking, and low battery warning. Operates on 4 “AA” batteries which are not included.
