Controlling the speed of the variable-speed motor is as easy as twisting a dial. Turning the dial clockwise increases the buffing wheels from 4000 RPM to a maximum 7000 RPM. The brush cap holds the motor brush and provides easy access for replacement. The 3/4 HP Variable-Speed Mini Benchtop Buffer may be small but is definitely not a toy.
