HomeSaver Stovepipe Shield – The use of this handy HomeSaver Stovepipe Shield allows you to reduce required single-wall stovepipe clearances from 18 inch to 6 inch, per NFPA 211, Section 6-5.1.2, 2000 Edition. The stovepipe shield connects to the pipe with the ceramic spacers and screws provided. This often eliminates the need to attach a cumbersome shield directly to combustible surfaces nearby. The 24-ga. black stovepipe shield is half-round in shape, 35 inch long, and comes with mounting hardware. One size fits pipe diameters from 5 inch to 8 inch. Note: This product is recommended for vertical installations only.
